Ryan Jeffords will be giving a brief introduction to Twilio http://www.twilio.com..., a web-service API for businesses to build scalable, reliable communication apps. After reviewing the general features and functionality that Twilio offers, we will use ColdFusion to build to build several basic applications to place calls, and send SMS messages.

Our User Group focuses on Rich Internet Application (RIA) development with languages and platforms such as ColdFusion, Flex, ActionScript, Javascript and AIR. Generally we cover programming topics more so than design topics. We also focus on such topics as object-oriented design, frameworks, and other ways to improve your development process.
