This meeting Doug Boude will give us a comparison and contrast between PHP and ColdFusion. Chris Rockett will also give us a quick introduction to the Git Source code repository software. We will have snacks, prizes and great discussion as well.

Our User Group focuses on Rich Internet Application (RIA) development with languages and platforms such as ColdFusion, Flex, ActionScript, Javascript and AIR. Generally we cover programming topics more so than design topics. We also focus on such topics as object-oriented design, frameworks, and other ways to improve your development process.
