Alamo Area ColdFusion User Group November Meetup

This location is shown only to members

This month we have some show and tell: Ryan Jeffords will show his approach to building a Learning Management System, and if we have time, Doug Boude will share some pros and cons of using Railo over ColdFusion as your CFML engine.

  • Next Month, Frances Jenks will share her experience with Adobe LiveCycle and PDF integration with CF.
  • Also in December, we will have our semi-annual raffle of Adobe software worth $2100!
  • In January, we'll explore ColdFusion 9 and some of the new features and benefits to upgrading.

Hope to see you there!

Our User Group focuses on Rich Internet Application (RIA) development with languages and platforms such as ColdFusion, Flex, ActionScript, Javascript and AIR. Generally we cover programming topics more so than design topics. We also focus on such topics as object-oriented design, frameworks, and other ways to improve your development process.

We cover a variety of topics and skill levels, so please join us!

Our regular meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm at the New Horizons Learning Center off IH-10 between Medical and Callaghan. Check out our website for meeting topics and directions.
